This show was consistently better than TVD cuz TVD had some bad seasons/episodes but The Originals always had a better plot and actors and was overall WAY better

Alexis Schmidt five seasons is an incredible run for a spinoff on The CW. If the second spinoff with Hope and the Gemini twins Lizzie and Josie happens, we will see Caroline and Klaus again. I'm going to miss this show so very much, though. It's been such a great show, and they've done exceedingly well for a spinoff. I miss TVD. It's sad to know when the Fall lineup starts that The Vampire Diaries won't be there waiting for us.

Pennyphipps well u know what I'm glad it's ending seeing on what storyline it was going forward.....I gave four years to this show just to see haylijah hanging in the air.....now atleast we will know what will happen to them. So yeah this is the best thing that happened to this show after season 1 ( personal opinion )

In all seriousness, I got real emotional. Saying goodbye to The Originals means saying goodbye to the TVD universe forever. And that universe has been with me for a long time. 8, now 9 years, is more than high school and college combined of being attached to these characters. I wish I could say thank you to all of the actors - of both shows - for giving me a reason to smile every week while I have been trying to figure my adult life out!

How has it been 12 years? The 4 years from the originals would still be during TVD because they aired at the same time... lol The TVD universe has only existed since 2009 - which is 8 years. The 5th season of the Originals will be 9. lol

Honestly out of all the “brother bonds” the CW has made such as, Dean and Sam (supernatural,) or Damon and Stefan (TVD, also tf both the olde rbrothers names start with D’s and the younger ones S’s) anyway though Elijah and Klaus were really the best one. 1,000 years of love and sacrifice and I’m the end Elijah would never in any world let his brother die alone. I hope they are both at peace.... long live the kings...❤️
