natalie ashworth For Monday Nights they're ratings were good for the CW and their numbers did rise on that night (CW President issued a statement about how happy they were). The Originals and Jane the Virgin did well considering every show prior to them on Mondays crashed and burn (Monday is a hard night with big competition). The Originals also held together for a show that keeps getting timeslot changes unlike TVD that keeps falling without any real competition hurting it. Either way ratings don't mean much in terms of quality most of the time. All the CW shows would've been cancelled if they were on other networks.

Narducci is right though about the crossovers and so far imo the crossovers they had didn't really pan out well. Tyler led no where, and the Originals in 100th episode was a a waste and the episode was just bad.
