I've said this before and I will say it until kingdom come. there is no doubt MJ was inspired by all of these people. the difference between MJ and a lot of these so called artists today is that when MJ did something that we've already seen he took it and made it his own, something completely fresh and different. Michael himself was unique, even if not all of his moves. He still added flavour to them and actually did most of them better than the originators. He put his signature on every move. What was really original about Michael was his voice.... His voice was truly unique along with his ability as a performer. Look at Chris Brown, Neyo, Justin Timberlake, Usher and the list goes on. They are all inspired by Michael, Prince and other artist and you can see it all in their moves and their music.

Good but you left out 2 of the Major players! Michael himself said he got some moves by watching Jackie Wilson (who sang Lonely Tear Drops) and the 1st moon walker recorded was 1955 by Bill Baily.
