Dinky duck is kind of like Pepe Le Pew. Both didn't have the best of luck, dinky id rejected by would be parents due to his species even when he tries to be sweet, Pepe thinks he's a charmer but doesn't know how to approach women and instead drives them away while him being a skunk makes it even worse. They both also seemed to be less success than the rest of the looney tunes or terrytoons crew.
