Depending on when you go, bug spray or a thermocell is a must! Trust me, I live on the Georgia coast.

Was there an Ice maker at the cooler on the island?

No Ice maker you’ll need to take your own. I’d suggest 1 gallon or 2 liter jugs frozen into large blocks over small chunk ice

@@darrenwilliams3624 Darren- the problem for me is, this video tells me I need to arrive on Tuesday, and I'm flying in from the West Coast on Thursday night. I don't even think I can make it, and I found out that I can't transfer this to someone else or trade it in for another shot. I hate that. I really want to hunt there someday. Work is just making it difficult this fall.

Pretty much everywhere. There were a few hogs taken along the skinny finger areas between the beaches and the duck pond. When I was there

Thanks Eddie , when you arrive you'll need to put a chair in the line in front of the ranger window. this will mark your spot in line... one check in begins you'll have the opportunity in the order of the chairs to go pick your spot by writing your name down on the list

My brother, dad and myself got the hog hunt. Do you recommend climbers or just on the ground? This is our first time hunting out here.

Either one will work. I like using a climber, however the first year I killed 1 deer and two hogs sitting on a downed tree. If you don’t have the room to take stands they’re are definitely not a “needed” item.
