Getting a lot of comments regarding the last map There were a lot of maps showcased that highlighted other skillsets (NM5: Tech, NM6: Rhythm, and many others including aim) since finding a pool of interesting RAW speed maps was a bit of a challenge. But regardless, all maps had speed. So I selected a tiebreaker that combined these characteristics. Unfortunately the difference maker in the end was a bit of aim, but between players who are evenly matched on speed, other skillsets tend to make the difference regardless of the map. Despite Utami being the top tournament/aim player in the battle royale, that didn't guarantee his victory on the tiebreaker. (e.g. ninerik carried locals of up to 97.5% on tiebreaker and he isn't the aim/tournament player that Utami is) Speed can still make that difference! I do understand the feedback though! For the next event (if I even decide to host again) I will change up the style for a less consistency/rounded based speed battle royale.

You wanted to make the pool diverse and that was a fatal mistake... It would be better to follow the example of aim battle royale who did not think about the cards in the pool and shoved there anything tied to jumps. You wanted to do better and in the end it turned out to be shit :/

@@sewermvze1 Considering there were no complaints from the participants, as well as previous speed tournaments running successfully with diverse pools..I'd be pressed to call it a FATAL mistake. One of the top speed tournament players winning the event is a fine outcome. Maybe not as hype as an underdog winning, but it's still a realistic ending.

I cant help but feel like the last map wasnt fit for a decider of a speed showmatch. You ended up just putting the Top 2 Tournament player against your underdog on a map where most chainsmisses are going to be due to aim.

Its literally like imagine having an aim tournament and then having yomi yori as the last map. R1cho just put in the play of his life whereas utami played subpar to what he usually can but still gets the win just because his other skill sets carried. Just is a sour taste seeing a hype tourney getting ruined at the end
