Exactly. You cannot have multiples of any cards in the 99 either, except for basic lands. Your general acts as another win-condition as 21 points of combat damage from a general will take someone off the table. I like the idea of this deck. I built a Borborygmos deck a couple months ago that was basically a Shaman-tribal agro deck that used him as a decoy and late game usage for my excessive mana. But this is a really great idea that finally uses all his abilities really well. I like.

To be fair I tried my best to break my habit of mispronouncing the name, and if you actually listen I pronounced it as such for the majority of the episode. Excuse me for mispronouncing the made up name of a fantasy character in a fictional card game.

Sygg! On the subject of the deck featured, I think any B. Enraged deck benefits greatly from Groundskeeper. With him out, Borborygmos's text reads "1G: Lightning Bolt!"

Nice video and nice deck. I may have missed it, but I feel like this deck is in need of Crucible of Worlds. You can toss your lands to deal damage to opponents, then play those lands from the graveyard! It might even help with the weakness to mill a bit. Btw, my vote goes to Aurelia =]

I have built this commander (and also cant say his name right haha). Like others have said I built him as a very "load the hand and drop all the cards at once". The deck is so much fun and I like to hostage my opponents by telling them I can kill them before their spells resolve if they target my commander (he is critical to my game plan). I run lots of flashback stuff, jumpstart cards and things that help from the grave because they will end up in there anyway and most spells are 4 mana or less so I really do just shoot spells and damage really quick with 20 ramp cards to get Borborygmos Enraged out by turn 4 or so. A key card is basilisk collar because it makes a land say "destroy a creature and gain life equal to its toughness" for no mana. I killed a player in 1 shot by boosting his power to 21 and my opponent had 2 indestructible creatures thinking it would stop me and I dealt enough damage to get their toughness to 0 and opponent's dont see those moves coming often. I have seen your list and wonder if Borborygmos Enraged should just be in your 99? Maybe Nikya of the old ways or Ruric thar the unbound eould be better suited to command this deck with a few creature replacements for the spells? I came here for inspiration and have found you just read this commander differently to me.

The only problem with that is counterspells hurting you SO much. But it does sound fun. If any EDH can actually pull off the Sweep cards, this one's a prime candidate.

no sprouting vines? no groundskeeper? I like this deck more as a "load my hand up with lands" and a lot of cool things to be done with life from the loam and cycle lands. I personally like to play this deck as a machine gun and lands are bullets.

Hammer of Purphoros is good in the deck yes. But also easier to kill because it's an artifact. The ability to sack lands for tokens makes up for that though.

If you're willing to spend a bit more, add ramp cards, snake umbra and keen sense and the land cannon starts early and never stops. Knollspine dragon for extra filth.

Sure it does some thing. Sekki pops himself, gets tokens, tokens shock an opponent for 8, res sekki by saccing tokens, sekki kills himself again, lather, rinse, repeat.

Now I don't like red/green decks normally and I'm certainly not a gruul fan, but I have to admit I really liked this deck. It seemed good, fun, and flavorful. I also have to give kudos for the warstorm surge & sekki combo. I rarely see anyone play sekki, much less a win-con with him. I also found the chess joke entertaining. Great video as always. As for my vote, I'm voting for Aurelia. I'm certain that's my submission, so I hope it gets picked.
