Since it's the tenth anniversary of the Snob, it makes me kind of sad that a certain notorious title has never been released on video (even though it still exists on film): Ingagi, the granddaddy of exploitation films. It's a fake documentary (though it was advertised as being completely genuine) that follows the expedition of the non-existent Sir Hubert Winstead and Capt. Daniel Swayne into the heart of Africa. There, they discover entirely new (that is, entirely faked) species and a remote tribe that worships (and fucks) gorillas. The most surprising facts about Ingagi?: It was made in 1930 and was one of the highest grossing films of that decade. It also inspired King Kong.
@graemesmith67217 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, Ingagi is a lost film. :(
@DDBurnett17 жыл бұрын
According to sources I've read, it actually still exists (a copy in the Library of Congress and 90% of the original audio on discs.) Of course, if it isn't copied soon, it will be truly lost.

I used to live in a moldy, dingy room that flooded when it rained that used to be a garage. I was homeless for 6 months so it was a room. A very depressing room but it had a bed.

So there are two "Deep Throat 2" movies. Makes as much sense as there being two "Terminator 2s" and one was an italian knockoff of "Aliens". Also for a movie that's primarely a sequel to a 1972 Porno, did they really need to go in such a depressing direction, even the 1974 "Deep Throat Part 2" acknowledged it wasn't gonna be as good as the first movie so it went for an even more comedic tone then the first, and I've only heard of the original 1972 "Deep Throat" from "I Love the 70's" on VH1. Also, did they really have to include beastiality with the whole "Sheep Rape" thing? Really? Hope that Farmer doesn't take a job driving a "Bookmobile" around Colorado anytime soon.

It's thanks to episodes like the Deep Throat Part II review that I know some history of the adult film industry. 4:05- Already, this movie feels like if Windy City was a porn film. 6:08- In speaking of which, I will stick with Wes Craven's New Nightmare, thank you very much. 7:39- Thank you very much, movie, for reminding me of "Island of Death." 12:02- HA! I was also thinking of The Howling. Allison Pregler would be so proud of that joke. 13:20- We never see news like this on Naked News.

I tapped out on the "Hardgore 2" joke, because that is NOT something that ever needs to exist, PERIOD. Not that it matters - who thought THIS "Deep Throat II" was a good idea?! At least "Deep Throat PART II" wasn't a depressing, in-name-only sequel that had the gall to bring up SHEEP RAPE and TERRORISM. Hell, if the Snob reviewed "Throat... 12 Years Later" any time soon, I'd rather see that than this.

I really did enjoy the metaphor, that the "daughter" was an allusion to Lovelace's turn toward anti-porn, and becoming a central figure in the sex wars only to claim later she was abused and used by them as well, just like her husband did. As for the sex police... putting aside Fahrenheit 451, a sort of sex police did exist in medieval Europe. The gist of it was, that the common folk were conditioned to have only missionary style sex, and only on given religious holidays, which combined were less, than a month. So, members of the Church roamed the streets after lights were put out to listen in on people, if they broke said ordinance, and had sex, in which case there was severe punishment, so likening current religious puritans to these guys centuries prior isn't that much off the mark. Apart for the bestiality (although there does exist a convict in North Carolina who was sentenced at least twice for sodomizing the same horse), the domestic terrorist was as pretty much spot on back then as it is now.
@akosbarati22397 жыл бұрын
Sheesh, of course not. What I meant was that the portrayal of the terrorist was spot on, except not all such terrorists are also into bestiality, that makes it look like if the type is completely made up.
@agentleman46107 жыл бұрын
Ted Bundy blamed all his murders on porn. Though not a single psychologist believed that he truly felt that way for a second.
@akosbarati22397 жыл бұрын
Even without a degree in criminal psychology, my layman guess would be it was his charm offense, except it didn't work, though had it worked, like the Twinkie defense, the dog would've been in jail instead of Son of Sam.
@anikmonette21406 жыл бұрын
Akos Barati Wait, how did they know they weren't doing missionary just by hearing? I know about such a police, but I'm unsure they were proceeding that way...

@MegaMawileTheNommer7 жыл бұрын
Still as bland even at their best. Its like remaking Young Frankenstein, but this time with Adam Sandler and directed by Michael Bay. An unneeded remake in a time where audiences are tired of remakes. Though I also read the MASSIVE amount of deleted moderate comments Sony purposefully removed to make it seem the movie was receiving more crass comments than it did... Which all amounted to "STOP REMAKING CLASSICS!" God that movie was a mess in and out of production. I am just looking forward to a Citizen Kane remake starring Hercules from Gods Not Dead and directed by Mr. Twist Night Fakename At the very least it did not star Amy Schumer.
