I wish upon the world MORE of this. These guys are taking the American roots and folk traditions and advancing them to the 21st century. Talent, Thoughtfulness, Artistry, Technique. Respect. And have accomplished all of this organically. No record company. No backing. No contract. No marketing.

I'm a 58 year old grown man, and this song had me losing my shit. I'm a hard rock fan, but when I see you all post a video I have to watch it because I know I will see very talented and skilled musicians playing the song. You all show so much passion and talent in contrast to some of the young famous musicians (more like auto-tuned posers) of today. I wish you success and please keep it up. Bring back "real" music to those of us who really appreciate a good song and the people producing it.

This song was such an accurate expression of how I've felt so often over the last year, depressed and anxious and just so grateful to my beloved for his faithful care and love, when I needed it badly and couldn't give it back very well. Thank you for giving voice to that. I fell in love with the Adorama version, unequivocally my favorite of your originals...and this is better, smoother, sweeter.

The album (Unamericana) on CD, sounds even better than the youtube video online. And the songwriting is unequaled for power, subtlety and depth. It made me go back and find their previous album 'Naysayer'....and The Coney Island Fair will brighten your day and bring a little lump to your throat.

There are some days in life when you’ve worked your ass off all day & are dead tired. You finally get a chance to sit down & put your feet up & check e-mail only to be reminded that it’s Friday & Josh & Carson dropped a new cut today. Obviously, as a long time fan, I’d heard the earlier recording, but nothing prepared me for the rich voices & harmonies in this version. It brought forth so many emotions. Others compared you two to James Taylor. I listened to old JT while showering today & I remembered thinking that although his music is still fantastic, something was missing for me. Now I know what was missing…the intimacy & richness produced here. Thanks for ending my day on a high. So far this album is solid gold.

I first chanced upon you guys in July 2019 with the video of "Stuck In The Middle With You", which included Reina and Toni. I was totally gobsmacked. At the end of the month I found myself in hospital for 5 weeks with jaundice which uncovered pancreatic cancer. Mercifully, because it was caught early and was contained in one place, the cancer was operable. After recovering from the jaundice I underwent 7 hours of major surgery to remove the tumour and followed that with 6 months of brutal chemotherapy as a mopping up exercise. Throughout all of that time, in my deepest, darkest days, it was your music that kept my spirits up and kept me going. I only learned well after the event that you played a gig in Leeds on your UK tour while I was in hospital in Huddersfield. I'm glad I didn't know beforehand because it would have been unbearable, as bad as everything was, to know I was missing out on seeing you live. Covers or originals, your music, your talent, your incredible musicianship, your beautiful vocals and harmonies, and your unbelievable performances touch the very depths of my soul in a way I have never experienced before in my life - and I'm 63 so I've been around the block a few times. I've been cancer-free for over a year now and been given a second chance in life. That life, as difficult as it is in these crazy times, is all the richer and sweeter for being able to enjoy the wonderful and soul-inspiring music you guys create. I hope you go from strength to strength for many, many years to come, and that I will one day be fortunate enough to get the chance to see you live. In the meantime, I am now foaming at the mouth with impatience for the release of your new album. God bless you both and all of your musical friends and collaborators. The future of popular/roots music couldn't be in better hands. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Oh my God! I've just found out that The Other Favorites with Reina and Toni are playing in Leeds on 18th November!!! My cherished wish has almost immediately come true. I went to the the guys' site to check on details regarding the album and happened to click on the Tour tab. Call it fate, call it what you will, but I will be there on the night. What a gift - a new album and a gig to enjoy all in the same month. Thank you to the Man upstairs for this blessing!
