In 68 Yale’s head Cheer leader was George W. Bush…they also had a player who dated a Vassar student named Meryl Streep…their running back was Calvin Hill the father of Grant Hill whose mother was roommates with Hillary Clinton…Harvard had a starting guard named Tommy Lee Jones whose roommate was Al Gore!

One of the last true rivalries that is solely about beating the other side, not for national titles or NIL money but bragging rights. Good shit as always sir. 🥃

These are the folks playing football right, not the try-hards I had to deal with going to an SEC university treating it like a professional league.

And if anything Harvard and Yale actually have the title of the game because they played every year since 1869 Ohio State and Michigan should be called the other game@@DiamondKingStudios

Can't wait for you to do the (other (other)) game (Michigan vs Ohio State) and then go through all the individual matchups in college football that people like to call "The game" (sportswriters aren't very creative anymore I guess...)

I've always found old college dynasties to be fascinating. Yale, Harvard, Princeton, Chicago, Army, Pitt, etc. The advent of the forward pass was a mistake.

Well now that you've covered the other game, you might as well do the other other game, aka The Rivalry. Lehigh - Lafayette is the most-played football rivalry ever and is the longest uninterrupted rivalry game of all time. Lots of history there
@timothystamm32003 ай бұрын
Princeton-Yale is probably the oldest important rivalry. Essentially was for who was the best in the East and in many years best in the nation before the late 1920s and originally was usually played in a neutral site in the New York Metro area. Usually the Polo Grounds specifically.

College football in the northeast is romantic. Its a religion down south, absolutely, but something about it up here just brings in some very cool feeling. As a Rutgers Student (Camden but hush) and Penn fan, its just... really cool. So much tradition. So much history. (And for damn cheap lol)

Trying varsity but can't, Harvard is hard. To join Yale for no reason why, is for the ale. Getting D at Brown is in need of lifeguard, getting an F at Dartmouth is in need of a Proctologist.
