The Other Northumberland

Around 55 years ago I made a cine film to show there were two Northumberlands, one with beautiful beaches, coal mines and shipyards, and another that people rarely saw. This is the Northumberland below the waves of the North Sea and it has its own beauty with kelp forests, colourful sea creatures and rusting wrecks. Here it is

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT, PURE FOOTAGE, NO MUSIC... STARTED DIVING MID 80'S, BROUGHT UP AT SEAGULL ROCK, CATHEDRAL ROCK, ST. ABBS, DUNBAR, BASS ROCK NORTH BERWICK, PINNACLE ROCKS, FARNS, BEADNEL REEFS, ST MARYS ISLAND, OBAN, INNER, OUTTER HEBRIDES... LOVE ALL THE FOOTAGE TAKES ME BACK, STILL DIVING KNOW, BEEN ALL OVER THE WORLD, BUT STILL LOVE DIVING THE NORTH EAST COAST... FIRST USED SEMI DRI, THAT WAS COLD ENOUGH, DRINKING LOTS OF HOT DRINKS BEFORE AND AFTER, TO WARM YOU FOR A SECOND OR TWO, DURING YOUR DIVE 🤣🤣...
