I don't think they hope he goes to shiritorizawa in the actual anime....but if you watch other Non-Canon haikyuu text then yes....they do that. It's mostly realizing that their horrible jokes are actually coming true and realizing without Oiks, they can't function. He's their setter and he brings the best out of everyone (that's actually canon, he does) so knowing this, they're like "wait, you can't leave?! " "we were joking Oikawa..!" so yah.... If you didn't need an explanation welp, I wrote this anyways
