This is actually the second time I've done a Greater Greece run (combo runs with Byzantium not included) but hey. They serve different purposes, one is a 2021 video that goes the traditional route, and there's this.

Yeah, Greater Greece makes more sense since there was an actual Greek diaspora in the lands you'd take and it draws from very recent history (for 1936, I mean) as opposed to, you know, ancient, half-a-millennium old history nobody actually gives a shit about. Plus, I think it's neat to play as a kinda smaller formable nation that plays support for one of the main factions once-in-a-while; world conquests grow stale after a while.

They may not be the best, but semi-realistic / semi-historical paths are my soft spot. Prefer them to simply map painting as fascists or having a hecking wholesome monarchist empire which also map paints.

You can form Alexander’s Empire if you go with the king, which is one of the hardest things to do imo

I feel like to improve this path, you can always just send an Ultimatum to Italy/Albania to demand Southern Epirus if they own it or if Albania is a subject, and in turn you do get to pay with some Civilians like how Turkey can buy the Dodecanese for Resource Rights, or Consumer Goods. Countries that require one state from your allies for it's end goal is just so annoying because there's no point of fighting them.

Has anyone noticed that the English Channel really has been lacking in their games? I've found more success in invading from there than the North Sea, even as a minor with Destroyers that only have a gun and a set of torpedo tubes.
