If they go back to normal they might add well not even do kick offs at all just good them the ball at the 25 and be down with it. At least this makes a very dull point in the game more exciting to watch

Post TD penalties effecting the extra point? Me likes! Edit: I'm also glad they're banning that stupid hip drop tackle. If you look at any games from the mid 2000's and prior, players (on side or behind tackles) would simply drive through their opponent to make a tackle or dive at the legs from behind. Modern football players aren't doing that. They're running up to the side or behind to HUG and GRAB players a their waste and then dropping their hips and swinging their legs forward to use that as momentum to make a tackle. The side effect is they're also rolling up on the runners legs. If youd drive through your tackle in the 1st place instead of playing grab ass, they wouldn't have to give that weak tackle a name. Now you guys have to HIT and use your pads. That's what football is all about.
