Firing Vrabel was Tennessee finally saying the old way of running the ball hard on offense, playing physical defense, and winning with grit and determination just doesn't work anymore... Amy looked around at what is working in the NFL, passing the ball, investing in a skilled QB, having elite scouting and an analytics department.

I hear ya, bottomtier. From 2018-2021 I respected what M. Vrabel did with the Titans. Yet, the past two seasons it appeared the tread had worn out on those tires, and I strongly sensed Tennessee needed a fresh start. Cause if things kept going the way they were I feared the Titans would get left way behind, with regards to what you listed in your second paragraph.

@@reubenalvear1975 it was always the Tennessee way. That's why we have had 4 of the greatest running backs to ever play football. I still hope we invest some in the run game, but the Oilers/Titans way isn't it anymore.

I wasn't happy about firing Vrabel but I'm open minded enough to give the guy a chance. Sounds like Vrabel dug his heels in and this guy is more of a team player, and gets along well with Ran. Hopefully this means Levis will get the support he needs to grow.
