The Otsutsuki Clan. A group of mysterious beings who have seemingly become a central part of the story, and were later shown to be the center of it all along. Their presence can be felt from the earliest part of Naruto to the latest parts of Boruto, but only toward the end of Shippuden did they ever receive a name or any revelation as to who or even what they were. They, to this day, remain just as mysterious as when we first witnessed them, even though at least three different main villains have been Otsutsuki, including Kaguya, Momoshiki, and Isshiki. But not all Otsutsuki Clan members have been evil, and that is the reason why I didn’t include Toneri as a fourth. He’s more of an antagonist than a villain, and yes, there is a difference. But before we dive any deeper…

Of course, they can't make it continue on endlessly like Dragonball otherwise. Prediction: The Otsutsuki clan are trying to harvest god fruits to give them power to hold off the super powered Clan Y. Clan Y views the Otsutsuki clan as a bunch of desperate fools. Naruto will need to unlock the true power the the Nine Tails to have a chance at fighting them. We'll call this powerup, "chuuni mode". Once this other clan Y is defeated with Chuuni mode, Naruto will need a new villain. Cue Dr Evil who uses the DNA from all the greatest ninja in history to create a super Ninja who wants nothing more than to subjugate all life on earth. He also happens to have the memories of someone who was bullied horribly as a child. It goes on like that for awhile. Eventually Madara will be reincarnated as a good guy. Because why not. Kaguya will come back and become golden kaguya and instantly become a match for giga hyper ultra chuuni Naruto (It's been looping for awhile now)

It's really connected with Hinduism because Indra is known as the god of gods and is a good god and Asura means like a really powerful demon which could or came close to rivalling the gods so i think kishimoto got Indra the good guy and Asura the demons mixed up

I hope they do some more lore on Otsutsuki clan/race. Like are they so powerfull due to advanced Technology, or they were just born with that power, Like sayans and Viltrumites for example. My theory is they are what humans in Naruto would eventualy evolve to due to chakra being injected to the planet earth. I think Otsutsuki were human like but somehow they tapped to the chakra either due to some super advanced technology or spirituality, and over many years they just evolved to Theese Godlike-aliens we see pretty much and obviously they found a way to ascend even further by eating theese chakra fruits from the Divine trees they are planting all over the Universe. Reminds me of Stargate Where you have ancient Race of humans who used Technology to rewrite their DNA and accelerate their evolution, to eventualy become Higher Dimensional beings of Pure energy. Otsutsuki are doing the same Just with Different Method, perhaps Extreme and radical one, but even more effective, as each Chakra fruit has all The Genetic Information from the planet it is harvested on.

I personally think the clan is a horrendous addition to the Narutoverse, they are clearly tagged on to fill plot holes and to challenge the overpowered protagonist. I personally believe, they should've depowered after the war arc and started from small with the Boruto anime.

Eh, not really. Dragon ball’s destructive scale is way past Naruto/Boruto. For example, in the original dragon ball, Master Roshi blew up the moon completely, this is the original dragon ball. In Naruto: The Last movie, Toneri only sliced up a hollow moon in half, this is post-Shippuden. DBZ was already reaching galactic levels with Kid Buu being stated to destroy entire galaxies in the guidebooks and with DBS, the whole scale went batshit crazy
