No, this isn't an Ottoman Slap. This is a backhand slap. Had this been an Ottoman Slap, then he would have been knocked out cold on the floor. The Ottoman Slap was meant to be used in battle using the full size of a person's palm meant for if the practitioner was disarmed in combat. It was never meant for just casually slapping someone. If done correctly, it was meant to knock people out flat. It was not meant for punishment; it was meant for combat. For people, you had no problem with actually killing. Disregard the myths about slapping stones or marble because a broken hand does not become stronger once it is mended. It becomes weaker, as you can learn from career boxers and other combat sports participants. They do not want their hands broken, lest they risk ruining their careers. It should be noted that there is no historically recorded use of the Ottoman Slap in battle, where it was intended to be used. But it is a technical possibility.
