Unlike the powerful machines of today, 5 horses and a Cobb & Co Coach would deliver passengers, mail and gold throughout the vast countryside of Eastern Australia. This is a tribute to an era long gone but not forgotten.

Love your video visit to Longreach and especially the Cobb & Co ride. The Station Store was one of my fave encounters when I trekked around Australia on my visit home from Canada last Aug/Sept. Lovely to see all the fun things they sell, esp. the toy emus. This is where I found and bought my own - Eduardo the Emotional Support Emu - who flew on over a dozen flights with me - QANTAS flight attendants made a fuss of him, too. LOL Thank you for posting this video which I will watch again and again to remember....
