The Dixon Building = the Bradbury Building. So many films and TV shows were filmed partly on location there. Why? Because it is simply awesome inside, a marvelous architecture. Mysterious, beautiful. It is definitely on my bucket list.

No. Ellison’s previous OL episode, “Soldier,” bears some elements in common with THE TERMINATOR. I personally don’t think they’re all that close (though the opening shots are strikingly similar) - but don’t tell Ellison I said that.

@@michaelhall2709 James Cameron went on record casually and rather flippantly confiding to a colleague that he did indeed draw considerable inspiration from the two Ellison penned episodes, most notably “Soldier”. When told that Ellison will surely strike Cameron down, he merely brushed it off. Little did he realize how HUGELY protective Harlan was of his work and was notorious for going after plagiarists with a vengeance.

@@ajctrading Ellison was a notably original fantasist author. The notion of him overtly plagiarizing someone else’s work would be HIGHLY uncharacteristic of him, given that he not only fiercely guarded his work, but the work of countless other writers as well

It's the generation x and younger that will have the worst effects. Generation Y knows what life was without computers and other gadgets that , in my opinion,make life too easy....and lazy. Plus, these youngsters have never lived with effects of the Cold War or being required to serve your country..of course this doesn't go for all but I have studied a good cross section and find basic knowledge and vocabulary lacking... There are those that will learn how to cope and make something of their life....these are the young people to be proud of....

Ellison is a genius, and Cameron is a genius at stealing plot ideas. Openly. Most of Cameron's sci-fi movies were conglomerations of plot devices in movies that he had seen as a kid. Terminator, Alien, some others. But 20th Century Fox has deep pockets and can settle lawsuits for cash where they feel necessary.
