My guess is that the ending shows that you are being used to help overthrow the communist government as part of the Bay of Pigs invasion. The 'Spider Eyed Lamb' might represent an MK-Ultra trigger phrase that's used to activate sleeper agents, and the religious imagery shows that Knoth's cult from Outlast 2 are really just part of a larger network of reagents under the influence of Dr. Easterman/the Skinner Man.

your infrences are true. Conflicts going on the outside are kept to be hidden. Bay of Pigs Invasion will be shown up as a civil war. Story dated back to cold war then Cuba Crises

complete every trial for the first 3 chapters (including the final exams) and youll unlock the 4th chapter thats TRIAL X which is intense modifiers which you need to complete all 10 in order to obtain the tokens
