Hard to do, but if I had to choose my favourite gig, it would be this one! I was front row, someone was passing round the JD, atmosphere was great and didn’t bother watching Saxon, Outlaws should have topped the bill, in my opinion! I often think of this particular show.

Saxon couldn’t follow it! So many of us went home! Outlaws blew them off the stage! One of my favourite gigs, in the front row and a random stranger passing round a bottle of JD!

This is just great! I too had this on a tape but it disappeared many years ago. Wonderful to hear it again. Thank you. The version of Green Grass and High Tides on this is one of the best things by anyone, ever. Off to search for Billy Squier and Saga, both from Reading, now! :)
