have you ever tried the fake player trap? basically someone is chasing you and you go into a 1 by 1 hole into the ground with an armor stand replicating your armor so the player thinks thats you, then when they jump in you mine the block underneath them and they get trapped. It's not good as a main trap if there are lots of players but its a pretty good backup. great video aswell
