It couldn’t have been a different landmass as the time pools link up to the same locations across time. I’d imagine it was around that time when life first took root in the boiling isles. So the Collector is at minimum millions of years old because we know that it was King’s father that sealed him and the boiling isles is King’s father. The Collector to me seems almost like a more childish form of Bill with very little comprehension of how he might be hurting people except belos who made him angry.

I’m starting to think that the Collector may have started out as literally just a “collector” of things. Hence why he ended up turning the owl beast into a scroll. He was collecting things, kind of like finding new toys or friends to play with. When the owl beast refused to “play” with him, he turned it into a scroll as punishment. He may have been trying to do the same with the Titan that became the Boiling Isles, except in the Titan’s case, it was too tough and resistant to his powers. The Titan then must of have gave his life in order to seal away the Collector for his crimes, basically doing the very same thing that he had done to anything that refuses his wishes or wants.
