If anyone's wondering why the second half of Season 2 felt so "rushed": Disney restructured the 3rd Season into a set of hour-ish long specials. Which, naturally, infuriated everyone; the audience, the critics, fans, the LGBTQ+ community... the people WORKING on the damn thing. My leading theory as to why involves Bob Chapek, Ron DeSantis & the state of Florida, and LGBTQ+ content that can't be swept under the rug for the international market. Edit: I realize that the "season" was ordered almost a year before Florida's infamous "Don't Say Gay" bill was passed. But I'm sure it was still involved, since Disney has the power to influence political action and also, unforgivably, let it happen.

@@Noctis-fr3uc You dont even have to read it. That Disney's new marketing strategy. Well, at least for its cable channels, Disney Channel and Disney XD. Like shows like The Ghost and Molly McGee. But, don't get me wrong, i don't hate or view chatic shows to be bad. Heck, I like the ghost and molly mcgee, cuz its a fun show! But, that's just what Disney wants now so that it can appeal more and more to the younger audience. Cuz, lets be honest, the average child watching would 100% go for a show that's chaotic vs. a show like The Owl House or even Amphibia which is more serialized and have lore you need to know to watch an ep. Unless you're a huge fan of the show who knows the whole storyline, like me. But, again, most kids watching wouldn't know that stuff.

S2 didn't feel "rushed" to me at all. Yeah, a lot happened; but it didn't feel like they're going too fast or confusing. With the Day of Unity being so close, it felt natural to have all these plot-relevant things happen; and the actions/revelations of the characters didnt feel like it came from nowhere since they set it up so well.

King’s Tide gives me major True Colors vibes- in both of them characters die, and the main character gets trapped on earth with their friends with no way to go back. And the fact that this recap seemed more simplified and rushed than the amphibia one, which was for 3 SEASONS, really shows how intense this season got.

This season was INTENSE!! It left me in shock for every episode!
