The sound effects felt a bit odd to me. I remember playing a really old game called Sacrifice (developed by Shiny Entertainment), which uses the same sound effects. The magic cast circle in TOH sounds the same as collecting souls in Sacrifice. The shield spell (2:45) sound is the same as with the speed spell. There are likely more, but those two I can recognize confidently.
