@@7evilartz981 I don't know about him, but the desert is one of the episodes the show how good of a team theyre, why Katara is so important, it shows the extremes of Aang, he even lied to YangChen when he told her that he never killed and he killed that vulture-bee on this episode, is also the first and only time that Toph "sees" the Avatar state

The Avatar State scene at the end is my best part of the show. I've seen almost every reaction of that scene on KZbin.

The next episode is about to be heartbreaking because of Appa and Aang just losing it but I'm glad they also shed light to Katara's strength after that butchering they did to her character in the last two episodes lol

really can´t blame the birb for being mad, everything he says makes perfect sense also this episode kinda made Sokka look like a villain, I usually have no issues with him but I can´t side with him in this episode

He being both unreasonable and reasonable, the gaang are justified in wanting knowledge to use against the fire nation, but it’s just not his problem. General zaoh probably used the exact same excuse, and who knows how many more people are gonna use it as well to justify stealing and destroying more and more of his knowledge. He came with benevolence in mind and was repeatedly mistreated, so when the time came that genuinely good people arrived he refused to believe them

@@jackofastora8962 "genuinely good people" you mean the guys that lied, stole his stuff, beat him up and taunted him? Sokka took advantage of Aang´s title and proceeded to disrespect the spirit in every way possible, the Gaang showed us exactly why the spirit is so done with humans

@@r.a.fgattaiguy845 to gain information that would help win a war against a genocidal superpower, I’d say that warrants some theft. He only beat him after wang was insistent on killing them all and taunted him maybe once. The show makes it a point that while wang’s nihilistic attitude towards human intentions is valid, it’s not healthy nor is it a good thing

@@jackofastora8962 right, so it´s fair to break the rules and commit crimes so long as it´s "for a good cause" birdman was right, people only want information to beat other people, and it´s because of this that they´re always fighting each other, and why all the knowledge in that library will never be seen again, because humans don´t deserve to see it you can argue all you want that it´s for a good cause, but that´s all a matter of perspective, it depends entirely on what side you´re on and what your ideals and standards are regardless it doesn´t change the fact that the bird was right and Sokka proved his point that humans are awful
