Yep perseverance and patience the latter is not my strongpoint. Ha never mind lovely shots our weather in Edinburgh has been grey and flat no light so hoping for something better soon. Your shots of the fog and the trees were great lovely atmosphere and depth to them

I think my patience has improved quite a bit compared to a couple of years ago ha. This was the first day we had weather that wasn't grey and flat so I feel you there. Hope you get some good conditions soon! Thanks for watching!

great shots Courtney, and they reminded me, for the atmosphere and the mood, of the Genesis album "Selling England by the pound". Amazing

Consider your journey as you persist in seeking that perfect shot. The latter is your destination (fait acompli). The former is the growth of your art, which will forever be ongoing.

Of all the photography vids & vlogs I have watched on KZbin your's has to be at the top of the list. After only coming across your channel just a couple of days ago, I can honestly say that of all the one's I have watched ( about 1/2 a doz ) this has to be by far the best yet. The absolute beauty of all the shots in this one is just simply stunning, who needs to go abroad when all of this is on our doorstep. Whoever wrote " This green and pleasant land " must of been looking around the corner and seeing you coming with your tripod and 750 so that we all could see your absolute talent before our very own eyes. That slightly mad comic attitude is just the cherry on top and so delicious and funny. Brilliant Courtney, just brilliant.👍

You are so right. Persistence is the key. But for me the unpredictable part of landscape photography is the fun part. I love it, when not everything can be planned. One of my best images took 6 years of multiple attempts but finally I got it ;-) I like your videos. For me they are the right mix calmness, humour and knowledge. Thanks a lot!

Fantastic video Courtney! It was so calming to watch and your photos were beautiful! Just made me feel very at peace! Are winter in North Carolina started off fairly warm and mild, but this past week it has actually felt like winter. Today, it is very cold (feels like -14° Celsius), very windy, and snowing! I have tomorrow off, so I am hoping I will be able to get outside for some photos. 🤞

Haha I definitely did check it out first! It could have made for an amusing (but painful) moment otherwise. It was actually filled with water inside so it didn't swing much, but now that I think about it I could have just tipped it out lol. Thanks for watching and take care!

Thank you for sharing this video Courtney. It is good to hear your opinion and your philosophy. I like seeing the village below with it 75% of the village covered in fog. I see that you took some shots with the 105 mm lens. Would like to know your opinion of that lens for landscaping photography.

That was a super chill video, I really enjoyed it. Persistence is key without a doubt. The amount of times we revisit compositions only to be beaten once again by the conditions is truly maddening 🤣 But I suppose being slightly mad helps in this game 😁

Have you given any thought to going " mirrorless?". I bought a 750 and waiting for autumn. I don't like the mirrorless idea. Hard to accept what a processor gives me image wise.
