The Pacey and Joey Story: A Romantic Screwball Comedy Part 12

A little note just cause I get SO many comments asking why certain scenes aren't included. This series of videos isn't every single Jacey scene. It's just clips that more or less fit the screwball comedy aesthetic. Some screwball comedies I would suggest ya'll watch are Bringing Up Baby and The Philadelphia Story. Pacey and Joey have been compared a lot to Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn. A great more recent screwball comedy is "What's Up Doc" it's lowkey a remake of Bringing Up Baby from 1972. If you're averse to black and white movies and want to ease into it then What's Up Doc is a good one to start with

It's the way Pacey said "It's us" and how they looked at each other when Dawson said "guess who i'm meeting tomorrow"...the intimacy man, the intimacy! Lol❤

Rewatching the final kiss that they shared on the couch hits differently after all these years, and it’s kind of bittersweet. The characters ultimately end up together, but at the same time Katie and Joshua are saying goodbye to them, and in my opinion it makes their kiss seem a lot more tender when you notice the way they both lean into it with a little bit of sadness 😢 Always will be my favourite tv couple ❤️

All of this, especially the kiss goodbye...I wish they would do a reunion and I don't mean made for tv like that did in 2020...I mean we never got to see him propose, get married have kids....I need that...I think the fans would love it and watch it...and in the pit of my soul I feel like if they had to kiss on tv again they would fall in love...if anyone was ever soulmates, I think it is them.

I hate that they had to time jump and complete the series undercooked , , I hate that they had to Drag Eddie this much for Realisation, ............... I hate that they didn't have more screen time for proper and more conclusive evidence that both finally agreed that they were the Endgame .

there is no bigger television catharsis than the one you encounter with Joey and Pacey winding up together--though there is a fair drag in season 5-6, with those annoying temporal relationships, but grateful the ship has finally sailed in the right direction. Eye candy at its finest.

I actually liked Eddie in the beginning but as soon as he came back and killed Pacey and Joeys reunion during college years I hated him 😫😫😫
