I went on two cruises aboard this ship (Alaska in 2001 and Hawaii in 2007), back when it was the "Regal Princess" of Princess Cruises. I still remember the staff talking about the sale to P&O cruise lines and how we were one of the last guests aboard under their brand. I have a lot of memories on this ship and it's crazy to see how some things have changed, and some haven't at all. I hope this ship has a great future wherever it ends up.

I've just disembarked Ambassador's Ambience (what this ship is now) and I thought to myself when I was onboard 'wow they've made these main spaces nice!' but now I'm watching this video... they haven't changed a thing, I should give my credit to P&O not Ambassador. Ha ha. My cruise was cancelled after 4 hours onboard and we all had to go home, not a great start. :')

Actually, as I watch a bit further it seems like most the things they've changed are outside, removing the slide thing etc. Still, it's pretty much the same. Thanks for the video!

It was such a great video, I remember all of the moments that Ive got, I went on the Dawn 7th September. There are so much more activities on the Edge like Titanic, Lazer Tag... ( And of corse the 3 activities that you said)🤘🤘🤘👍👍

Well this ship or its sister is called Ambience from Ambassador Cruises in the UK. I'm on it for 32 days in Oct in the Med & Black Sea. The flume has gone thank god & hopefully the decor, it's a bit busy shall we say & not up to European tastes. Shame we didn't see the rooms or the theatre.

I am going on the Dawn in December and I really think that the Dawn should be a No Smoking ship as you can always smell the smoke as people pass I did enjoy your tour it was so helpful finding out where everything is located Thank you regards see you soon Diane

She is now unique, the ONLY cruise ship that looks like that, Her identical sister ship has been scrapped in India mid 2021.

Hmmmm. On this ship in a few weeks. The walkers have obviously discovered that it's easier to follow the joggers than try to go the other way around! A bit disturbed that most of the facilities appeared to be closed (eateries, bars, shops, spas, pools etc) although ship under way and in daylight. Please comment.

Not any more saved bought by new UK operator Ambassador cruise line,been refurbished and re named Ambience sailing from Tilbury London, first maiden cruise from April 2022 to Hamburg. Booked for Norway cruise in August 2022.

Got a cruise coming up soon my 1st ever. I am quite physically disabled and am sad to see that the only pool and the spas etc all seem to be not disabled accesable. Im worried now my cruise will not be everything ive built it up in my head to be and will be unable to experience much.

Are tea and coffie the only free drinks? Is there free aofr drinks and.or water available? Also do you know if there are fridges in the cabins and am i able to fill my water bottle with some sort of liquid and take to my room? Can you let me know whats included in the cruise for free/what is not. I e is that ice cream free?

Basic tea, coffee & juice are included in fare. Special coffees such as lattes, capps, espressos cost extra. Yes mini fridges are in all rooms and tap water is available for free so you can fill your water bottle and keep in the fridge. The ice cream shop is specialty and costs extra. Go to the FAQs section of the P&O website for more info
