Honestly brother Karangu, if doing some of the projects that you are doing are affecting your health, as a RN,BSN nurse living in the diaspora, with a lot of MH experience, I would recommend you discuss with a MH therapist/psychologist or even psychiatrist so they can professionally advise you on way best way forward. Your family needs you and it is not healthy for them to see what I’m seeing during this interview. You’ve even made me shed tears yet we don’t know each other. They need a happy, healthy you because at the end of the day, they are the most important people in your life. Your wife and children need you and so does the rest of your family. It’s good to serve but make sure your oxygen is on 1st before you put oxygen on any one else, is the advice we get when flying in case of danger! I’m saying this with a lot of empathy and caring for what you’ve already done. There’s nothing wrong with taking a break, re-grouping/recovering! Please take it positively because very few people will be there for your children in your absence. I’ve experienced it and would not wish it on any child!
