How is the Christian to view discipline? It's not only corrective. It does correct us out of sinful behaviors but it's more than that - it proves the one who is administering the discipline cares for us and we belong to Him. It trains and equips us for the journey ahead.
The author of Hebrews sheds light on the Lord's discipline of his children in 12:4-13.
