Travelling through the GBAO in Tajikistan to Kyrgyzstan, following The Pamir Highway, with a few detours along the way. We hired a Landcruiser and driver in Dushanbe and spent 16 days journeying to Osh in the second half of August. We planned in plenty of hikes and side trips off the main M41 route, including Jizeu village in the Bartang Valley, the Wakhan, Peak Engels Meadow, Zorkul Lake, Jarty Gumbez, the Pshart and Madian Valleys, Rangkul, and Tulparkul. We stayed in homestays, guesthouses and camped along the way. The scenery in this remote region is truly outstanding.

What an amazing video. A friend in our group played this for all of us the night before we embarked on our Parmir journey - I got so hyped after the video. After having the incredible experience of hitting the Pamir for 12 days, I have a whole new appreciation for this video. You guys nailed it. World-class cinematic shooting and editing across the board. You captured the vibe and scene of this part of the world - it really takes me back. The Pamir is a gem. Views are lacking though..this vid deserves way more.

Loved your video. Trekked the Fann Mountains in 2019 with a friend and the color of the lakes was spectacular. This yr. I am going to Upper Mustang. Your Upper Mustang video was very helpful - my original trek did not include the route you took after Lo Manthang and I would have maybe missed it if I had not watched your video. Have included a couple of side excursion on this trek to various caves. Very excited about this trek. Thank you

Ha, well every opinion is helpful! It's interesting for us to mix it up a bit, both when shooting the video and when it comes to editing. Sometimes we just don't have enough of a plan in advance to make a cohesive video with talking throughout, so it ends up like this! We always write up an accompanying blog post though for those who want the nitty gritty details 😉
