I would be all for drafting Ebuka. Even if we trade back from 8 into the late teens I would be cool with it, as long as we got at least an early 2nd or a 2nd and 3rd in return.

They need all defense and maybe one more offensive lineman. The receiving core is solid with Thielen,XL, and Coker. They need to wait and see the development of XL and Coker next season before they consider targeting a big time receiver.

@AFerg Not sold. We need some speed and someone who can create. We have enough guys that catch and go down. We need a YAC king, a separator, someone that can run an end around or put their foot in the dirt and go on a wr screen.

Panthers will have almost 50 million in cap space by march 13th. Just watch! Possibly 60 million if the new cap sets at an additional 10 million. Restructure Moton, extending horn cutting Tuttle, sanders, Dane Jackson and Corbett would add a possible 30 million to the cap.

@TheTwizted We definitely need a #1. No time to wait on XL to develop. Bring in a #1 as he develops. Bryce is on that rookie contract so the clock is ticking. The team needs to be ready to compete by his 5th year or we are screwed. It just gets harder when you pay your qb, and everyone has their hand out.

Carolina definitely has the assets to move up a little bit in the second round and grab a skilled receiver. I would prefer it rather than sign one for a 20 million plus a year contract.

with tee injury history at his age I dont think paying him heavy would be the right move. just seeing some of these young dawgs on some of these teams like malik, jamar, and jets makes me feel like the panthers should go out and get a young wr through the draft or trade. Feel like we just need to build our receiver room getting good young wr at a good value for now but I think our future WR1 will have to drafted or a young guy we can grow with.

we get tee higgins realistically by the time we are good enough to be makeing REAL runs, he going to be damn near 30 we might as well save that money put it into our defense and/or get a younger more talented guy through a trade or the draft. I just feel like higgins isnt at all the best WR1 we can get for our future.

I don't like Tee's attitude and personality. Hes a great talent but he would affect Bryces growth in a negative way. Also it's a bad idea to spend money on fringe players like WR when you need interior. Use your money on both lines. Protect Bryce 1st. Get the running game going and get a great TE. Then recievers

That’s how I feel about Pickens and DK metcalf. Those two have been in this conversation as well. I’m so glad we got rid of Diontae Johnson. Never noticed this about tee Higgins though. Is he a diva? I don’t really remember him having any locker room problems but we can’t afford him anyway. I don’t want Carolina to spend that kinda money on him.

@ if that’s the case, then I agree. Again, I was so excited that they traded DJ even though everyone else was upset about it. He was a cry baby and was a huge distraction. Dave and Dan did the right thing. Idc what we got for em.. they’re trying to build a culture and help Bryce as much as possible. Not to mention, I feel like Bryce struggled, those first two games, possibly because of him and Bryce trying to force him the damn ball since he was such a ball hog.

Bryce, Hubbard, Theilen, XL, Sanders, Tremble (Resign this man) He'd 💯 be our first option. I can say no one in the draft brings that day one to this team. No Studs like last year's draft.
