The Panthers shpuld have never made that trade. They weren't a QB away, they were half a roster away.

Thinking Bryce was better than CJ was completely idiotic!

Its simple. Bryce height is a direct reason why he's struggling. It hinders his field vision. He can't climb the pocket on edge rushers cause he can't see within the pocket behind 6ft5, 6ft4 olinemen. Having below average athleticism fails him also vs the best football athletes in the world for his improv game. His average arm is no better either. The lack of velocity on his throws doesn't allow him to fit pro game windows enough to get the job done. So what went wrong? Bryce physical attributes are failing him more than anything that Carolina has tried to put around him. & I haven't even mentioned the mental aspects of the game that he's currently screwing up with. Those brain attributes that he was dubbed to be next level at, compared to other QBs.

The Panthers...thank you very much (Texans fan). Young may just need some time to watch a vet play and let the game slow down till Brooks gets off the IR perhaps?

Stroud was always the superior arm talent. Bryce does not have a strong arm, can't hit those tight NFL windows.

Bryce doesn’t compare to the average nfl QB let alone CJ.

I said the bears should of traded for Russell Wilson and sat Caleb behind him especially since Waldron worked with Russ. Bears are running another qb.

This is facts. I was thinking the same thing during the whole off-season. Or Keep Justin trade for the haul and sit Justin behind Russell but no Poles is going out on a limb and starting a rookie QB.

What went wrong was drafting Bryce Young number 1 overall. If you wanted to take a chance on him in the 6th or 7th round I almost understand that based on his college exploits. Any casual fan could look at Bryce and his size and skill set and come to the conclusion that his abilities won’t transfer to the NFL. I did. I beat that drum. He has nothing special about his game, nothing, then add how gosh damn small he is and it’s a recipe for disaster.

Turns out Justin Fields was not the problem in Chicago. It was the offensive line. The interior offensive line to be specific. Drafting a new QB ain’t going to fix that magically. That new QB is just going to be every defensive player’s snack. Same goes for Bryce Young. Though you also have several factors in play. His height doesn’t help, nor does starting his first year. The latter I think gave him several problems. Which you can see in his play this year. Feel bad for the kid.

You can always tell which analysts don't actually watch all the tape because you want to sit there and talk about offensive line and how they need one have you not noticed that Carolina's past protection the first two games was outstanding and Bryce young was bailing on empty pockets and missing short empty passes Bryson looks terrible you actually watched all the games like I said there is no he has no weapons those excuses have gone out the window for me I'm sick of hearing it

There was no need to start Bryce Young last year. There was no chance for a winning season let alone a playoff run! Let him sit & learn, C J Stroud is a rarity.

No need to trade up to #1 for Bryce Young. Especially if you intend to sit the kid the 1st year.

I love what the Falcons have done. They got a solid Vet with a rookie with huge potential behind him...and this is coming from a Bucs fan, lol.

Where was the Commander topic? Im guessing they meant Bears. I would say out any team they are doing the best with how they handling our rookie QB. Simplify the offense give him easy throws early to his build confidence, run the ball more. This is how you should ease your QB into league, outside of sitting him for year.

Poles should have traded back twice to rebuild the Oline and improve defense, and started Bagent who's Tom Brady 2.0!!

@@checkingoutgypsymike2075 I would say at very least you draft a Oline at 9 instead of WR. That C/G for Bucs is supposedly doing well.

What happened? He wasn't the NFL ready QB that the establishment big shots said he was. The Bryce hype train was a lie. Some players peak in college. Just the way it is. The NFL is physically miles beyond what they see in college. As for Bryce, he never had a strong arm and his lack of height was always a problematic factor. He can't grow six inches, but he can build his arm strength. We'll see.

Even with protection, he held the ball too long. And his arm strength is lacking.

As an offensive line guy it really shouldn't matter who your O-line coach is, you have one job and that's to block. No comparison to a QB
@amphilochusofmallus5070
@amphilochusofmallus5070 53 минут бұрын
Eh, it's more complicated than that. If you want to reduce everything to its basic element, than all a QB needs to do is throw the ball. The O line needs coordination, knowledge of the scheme. Blocking is different for passing than for runs, and each play may require different actions and skills. All of which requires a coach, and as with anything else, some people will be able to share their knowledge with other people more effectively with some people than others
@AR1point0

@@amphilochusofmallus5070 I played receiver, I understand Blocking for a run is different from a pass block at the end of the day it's still only blocking one job.
