The Panturas, a surf rock outfit hailing from Jatinangor, Indonesia, is composed of Abyan (Vocals & Guitar), Rizal (Guitar), Bagus Patria (Bass), and Surya (Drums). Drawing inspiration from legends like The Ventures, Dick Dale, and Eka Sapta, their music echoes the sun-soaked spirit of summer and the vastness of the ocean. Since their inception in early 2016, The Panturas quickly made a splash with their debut single “Pelayan Nelayan,” capturing the public’s attention with their distinctive sound.
Building on their early success, The Panturas released their debut mini-album ‘Mabuk Laut’ in 2018, followed by dynamic showcases in Bandung and Jakarta. Their journey continued with memorable performances at both intimate historic venues and large-scale music festivals throughout Indonesia. With the release of their second album ‘Ombak Banyu Asmara’ in 2021, The Panturas reached new milestones, organizing their own sold-out showcase events across major cities, reaffirming their status as a formidable presence in Indonesia’s vibrant music landscape.
