My Aunt died unexpectedly over a year ago. She was then followed in death by her husband three weeks later. This song makes me think of all the people that I have lost growing up, wether the loss occurred due to death, distance, or the relationship breaking down is unimportant. What is important to me is that I have a lifetime's worth of memories of happiness and love for the people I lost. Even if they didn't love me I loved them and my feelings were sincere and true. You can't change people, but you can accept the feelings that you had as being genuine. Shout out to Forever for playing this song tonight.

You're a bitter kind I love you so Sour is my mind From what you sow How I let it grow Call them radiant Call them mother's eyes Home's a narrow space for me to find Your beguiling state in endless heights I'm just not moving right Just not moving right when it's just not you Under neon lights Where I wake I'm not feeling right So they say Rough kind of a day Don my clothing, robes of ancient white Rattled windows on the old green line Do you feel it like I hope you might? Just not seeing right Just not seeing right When its just not you

@@nikitalouisesmith Just curious how do you know that its his daughter? It seems like its someone he cares about and the meeting was painful but i couldnt pick up on anything else
@Ohnoemmaishere5 жыл бұрын
@@karthikgajulapalli4820 There are clues in the lyrics. For example, "Call them radiant, call them mother's eyes." This helps because the dad is most likely saying that the daughter has her mom's eyes. I don't think that it's about a daughter lost to prostitution though. I think it's just a just about a strained relationship between a father and daughter because of the decisions the daughter makes.

This song Reminds me of my Mother & My Grandpa I lost both of them a year apart from each other, he died at the age of 85 from organ failure in 2016 and She died from a Overdose in 2018 at the age of 41. I still think of them everyday cause I miss them! And I'll never get to see them anymore I was 21 when my mother died and I was 19 when my Grandpa died.😞🌷. I know what it means to lose someone you loved or cared about i mean i even I lost a Friend & Co Worker last December to A heart attack.
