Prayers for us and our families as we mourn the deaths of our sons. I take some comfort in that God also lost his son to death and as he raised his son he will resurrect our sons. God give us His peace. I missed you last week but thoroughly enjoyed Here I stand. Thank you, Sam

I particularly appreciated your positive description of Pharisees in their historical setting and I think this parable highlights the challenge Jesus has of convincing people who lead "godly and self righteous lives", that they need Jesus just as much as the tax collectors. "All our works are as filthy rags".
