I read and have thought about this explanation that makes alot of sense... the servant was indebted to or employed by the ruler. He refused to do his job... but not only that, he slandered him, impugned his character. This is a serious offense. Like Satan denying God's goodness. And that being the reason for the Fall of mankind. He really was an evil servant. Not just a bad business guy, scared of losing money.
