to clarify the question from 4:20 its because having time to grieve is a privilege that not a lot of people would realise. lots of people would have to put their emotion on the side and prioritise taking care of things financially and culturally. this movie portrays as one of that cases. the inequalities is not only in the rights of marriage but dig deep down through human rights, nationality rights, morality and even patriarchy is being shown in the movie when facing life challenging lessons rooting from Thai culture.

He has to pollination the durian flower at night, that’s why he’s up there. Do it at the night will help pollination to be complete, increase the percentage of fruit set, and is another technique that helps produce quality durian with 4-5 full lobes ( I hope u understand my English 😅)

I already watched the movie a few days ago. I guess it a drama thriller. I thought it’s vey weld one. The emotion just keeps building up to its peak. The plot, the cinematography, the acting, the music were good. It’s really dramatic though but it’s quite real. I would watch it again 😊

I heard that it will premiere in Toronto and the tix were already sold out and it will be shown at the Cannes film festival. They def plan to show internationally. Just don’t know where and when yet fingers crossed

That’s bc it’s directed by Boss Kuno who is a master creative. They conjure so many emotions into their cinematography, and craft beautiful storylines that leave you stunned.

its a drama thriller? the reviews have been incredible. i wanna watch it so bad. for right now being released in thailand laos cambodia singapore australia. canda- at tiff film festival (it has 3 screenings. tickets on sale today) but rest we dont know. hopefully more international release and gonna be on netflix at some point so thats our best bet rn i think.

Oh, I have to say that the durian throwing scene in the movie was brutal. And in real life in Thailand, this kind of thing really happened. It makes you realize that you don't want to mess with the durian orchard owner lol

@@ZakkiyahZ Fact is the reason he climb the durian trees at night is because the durian flowers bloom between 6pm and 10am. He have to climb up to brush the pollen, and usually they only wear a headlamp. If you see how they pick the durians, you will be amazed at how dangerous their lives are.

Она очень очень трудолюбивый человек, и с самого детства работала и помогала своей семье и добилась всего, что имеет сейчас абсолютно с нуля и одна своим же трудом. Пережила смерть отца, избиения бывшего парня и многое другое, а сейчас у неё каждый день без выходных работа, съёмки , реклама, встречи.. Мне очень обидно, когда над ней смеются, потому что она действительно очень талантливая актриса, певица и танцовщица
