Your narration has improved by leaps and bounds already man. Great job. My great grandfather always claimed to have seen his mother’s doppelgänger with his father as witness. She was apparently just walking through the house, cleaning as she usually did. When his mother came back in the house, they were surprised to find she had no memory of doing those chores. They always believed then what they seen couldn’t have been her, despite being her exact match.

Another great video my guy! Your videos are always so relaxing and entertaining, and often introduce me to paranormal entities I've never heard of. I offer some friendly reminders: look up unfamiliar words, research well, and take care of yourself (seriously, a video every 2 days?? That's some dedication, but please don't burn yourself out!)

i’m ojibwe native, up towards minnesota/michigan!! we have pukwudgies too, but we call them “memegwisi” or just “little people/spirits”. my grandmother used to tell my cousins and i stories about them. she told us to be careful when we meet one because there’s tales of children being lured away into the forest by their playful nature, only to never be seen again. they’re blamed for small things disappearing around the house, pulling pranks like knocking things off the shelves, or even worse in some stories. generally, they’re regarded as spirits, as many Native American cryptids, legends, and creatures are. they used to give me nightmares as a kid lol i just wanted to share.

Really interesting how red caps and Kappa are alike, as well as many other creatures that require some sort of sustaining element on or near them in order to wander this dimension. Almost like how an astronaut or diver requires oxygen in order to roam those areas. Love your channel. I've been dealing with health issues and this channel has been a great companion in the wee hours of the night.

Fun fact; Carach Angren, a Dutch "symphonic black metal" band who are fond of their concept albums, made an album dedicated to the Flying Dutchman, "Death Came Through A PHantom Ship". There's a theatrical interlude in the middle part of the album that clearly denotes the moment when Capt. Vanderdecken Goes Off The Deep End and taught me the one and only sentence I know in (18th century) Dutch: "GODVERDOMME! WIJ ZULLEN VAREN , AL BETEKENT HET MIJN DOOD!!!" ("May God damn me! We sail, even if it means my death!")

I remember I always hear the word "Gengångare" and thought it was some proverbs or expressions and not referring to anything particular. I thought it was related or synonymous to "Dubbelgångare" as in doppelgänger. They are using the same prefix which means walker which even Swedish word for the animal sloth uses and is are literally translated as "slow walkers" (even as a kid I thought it sounded silly but I thought it was related to sleep walker referring to how sloths moves as if they are still sleep.) Although learning from media, I thought doppelgängers are synonymous with a clone often summoned by magic rather than someone looking similar to oneself. Judging by the name it made sense as it's someone's identity wandering double as if being two places at the same time. No one explained to me as a kid what Gengångare meant but by simply judging by the name it sounds like it's someone or something that passes through something. Like identity possession or personator or something. I saw them more like concepts than a literal supernatural beings. It reminds me how I thought hell and devil was just expressions of something chaotic, wrongdoings, mischief and evil (especially learnt by classic cartoons and cursing) without knowing they had any association with Christianity growing up around many Lutheran Christians (I actually personally haven't met any Christians actually believing in these stuff in person other than seeing foreign ones on the internet).

I'm loving your growth as a youtuber, and i wish you nothing but the best in the future, but please put just a smidge of effort into understanding how to articulate english townnames. Suffolk isn't Suf-Foal'k, it's Suf'fuk. "Eden-burg" was one the other day, too. "Ed-in-buh-ruh" would be more-or-less correct. I know the spellings aren't all that easy for americans to get as they're not common in your dialect of english, but do give it a go. All the best x.

Good video, although I'd rather designate all of these critters as paranormal "entities" or simply as "ghosts" instead of "cryptids". By the way, regarding "La Llorona" there is an even older version of the legend that dates back to the last days of the Aztec empire a few years before the arrival of the spanish conquistadors that refers to her as the goddess Cihuacoatl (literally "snake woman") and the "children" she cries for are the Aztecs since she knew the fate that awaited them upon the arrival of the europeans.
