No, that's just because the final level, the rainbow one, was supposed to have flashing colors but if you have the "Final Level Lag" turned on it turns off the flashing colors which reduces lag on slow computers that can't handle the carpet movement.

You know what the weird thing is? I believed the Ross lore about Markiplier, not just because I didn’t go to his show, not just because Ross didn’t lose a beat in his story, but because Mark is weird enough to do almost everything on-stage that Ross described. Like, I saw the videos of what bits Mark would do and I still just believed Ross because Mark is that unpredictable. The only thing that tipped me off was the farting on the things he signed. Mark wouldn’t do that to his fans...at least not without telling us in advance in a video.
