This scene of the game really caught me off guard, seeing how they all went out on their own terms was sad. I am really glad Techland showed us this at the start of the game to give us an understanding that world is no longer what it was and that we are among the last survivors of the earth. I am loving this game, 62 hours in and still got more to go....Techland outdid themselves with this one. Goodnight and Good Luck everyone......

Rather than starving to death, living in constant fear or witnessing the loss of another loved one… They all chose a more or less peaceful, and to some degree, happy end. The moment I saw the first skeletons, undisturbed and showing a clear story as to what was going on, my heart sank. As if the end of world wasn’t sad enough, we are slapped in the face by this moment, and at the beginning of a game we waited so much for that matter.. Well played. :’(

I absolutely loved this scene, only for it to feel out of place not 1 hour later when there's flashing purple lights everywhere and survivors around every corner. In comparison, Dying Light 1 felt the way this scene did all the way through. The location was enough to tell a story and many times you're left just to speculate on how everyone lived beforehand.

This Scene is more realistic than we think. Imagine you live in a Warzone, where your live change from one situation to another. In the first Moment everything is good, but than everything changes into pure Chaos. And you have the choice to live in a destroyed and desperate World ore you commit suicide to die in peace. Very sad situation.

Just think if they made a dlc about Aiden's childhood from being experimented on by Waltz to growing up in the post apocalyptic world where we see his mother and father and explains the 2019 e3 trailer where he says his father saved his life and taught him life lessons, how he met Spike , how he became a Pilgrim and much more, plus adding this soundtrack in at depressing points of the dlc. (I found out he didn't know his parents so that won't happen but we could see his life before and after the Fall and who raised him during it and the rest of the stuff I mention)
