I'm enjoying this book, but wondering how all this is going on in a crowded train carriage, with people able to overhear surely! Especially the daughter's screams on speaker phone mode

Good basic story but you need to give the author some licence as some details would not stand scrutiny.

Its not Tolstoy but the narration is great and the story must be good l spent hours listening to it to find out how it all ends.

Very nicely written, excellent flow to the story and just the right amount of intrigue. Daniel Hurst is an excellent writer and the narrators have done this story justice. Thank you for the upload ! 🙏🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷

I like the narrator's, the story started off well but the daughter is a brat, the mom is being a door mat for her. She should have called the police while in the bathroom. She was in total control of the situation at the time. This was disappointing in the end.

The narrator does a good job but there is not a redeemable character in the bunch. And the main characters a murdering thief with a disrespectful lazy daughter how are you supposed to cheer for either of them? Interesting story but again not one redeemable character

I don't know if it's the story or the narrators that are boring. Maybe its both.

Gave it 1.5hrs, poorly constructed story, with a lack of charecter development.

Sounds like you’re more a “movie person” than a “book person”. Not willing to give in the time to understand character development and back story understanding which has a bearing on the incidents that are occurring now…Stick to movies. You’ll probably be happier.

Such a frustrating plot. Could be over before it began if she just screamed at everyone in the train to take his picture he’s got my phone!! He’s a a thief!!! Maybe England has lost their sense of chivalry.. there were so many different opportunities to end it easily
