Bowie was never as hardcore as Iggy. The smoking and cancer got him. Lenny did drugs until nearly the end. Having to stop them brought out all sorts of issues he didn’t know were there. Iggy has been straight for decades though. Not surprised he outlived Lemmy. He was awesome though

This is September 25th 1977 at the Manchester Apollo, the first UK date of the Lust For Life tour. Hunt Sales (drums), Tony Sales (bass) - both latterly in Tin Machine with David Bowie - Scott Thurston (keyboards) - previously in the Raw Power Stooges - Stacey Heydon (guitar) - toured with Bowie in '76 on the Station to Station tour.Bowie played keyboards on the Idiot tour in March and April 1977 and the guitarist was Ricky Gardiner (who also played on the 'Low' album by Bowie). The Sales bros were also in the band on the Idiot tour.

Idk...maybe take a look at Måneskin? They are a pretty young Rockband but they have a lot of experience. Did a cover/collab with Iggy of one of their songs (didn't like it too much😅) But they have a lot of cool songs...a bit different from this but good stuff that is pretty divers from rock ballad to hard Rock song😊(maybe a bit more glam rock)

adam tarver You mean the eye candy singer from Ray Manzerek and Robby Krieger's band? Jim Morrison was a one hit wonder flower child who couldn't handle the truth. He couldn't survive three days in New York. That said, this from Wikipedia "The seeds of Pop's stage persona were sown when he saw The Doors perform in 1967 at the University of Michigan and was amazed by the stage antics and antagonism displayed by singer Jim Morrison.[7] Morrison's extreme behavior, while performing in a popular band, inspired the young Pop to push the boundaries of stage performance." News to me,and totally awesome, but Jimmy is still working and James is decorating a hole in the ground in Paris.

The band is the same as TV Eye live 1977. Iggy Pop: vocals David Bowie: piano and synthesizers (on tracks 1, 2, 6 & 8) Ricky Gardiner: guitar (on tracks 1, 2, 6 & 8) Stacey Heydon: guitar (on tracks 3, 4, 5 & 7) Scott Thurston: guitar, piano, harmonica, synthesizer (on tracks 3, 4, 5 & 7) Tony Sales: bass Hunt Sales: drums (The Sales brothers would later form 1/2 of Tin Machine) The early dates had David Bowie on keyboards and LOW guitarist Ricky Gardiner. When David left to record "Heroes" Gardiner departed with him. Ricky was replaced by 1976 Station to Station tour guitarist Stacey Heydon (seen briefly in his afroed glory) while Scott Thurston replaced David on the keyboards.

I know him as Person, live, from Berlin, together with David B., we all were addicted, and? It was a Part of our Life, and a lot of Ups and Downs, but very, very intensiv! I don't want to miss ONE SECOND! Nobody can understand who is not in this special "Condition", who don't know this feeling! It's illegal, of course! But: what's up? Who is interested, why? It's not possible to explain... A lot of very, very intelligent and creative people are User or has been User.... We didn't do anything bad to other people, we didn't take money of the governement or the society, we work for our money and spenden it for something we want and we need! No justice, please! This guy is a hero, a artist, a performer... And David is an Icon.... 👍💞💜 I love them truly and warm for the rest of my life!

I've been with them from the beginning. Music is awesome and what a great performer. But,stay away from drugs and alcohol. I'm glad i did. My friends are messed up,or dead. I'm still alive.

I dreamed last night my deceased mother took me for a ride in a helicopter. My mother never flew a helicopter in her life. In the dream, I couldn't see where we were going but she could. We landed safely, and I told her she was the best mother I could have had.

nathalie chapron I admit there are some but, not like we used to have. I'm just thinking of the music my generation had. The artists could actually sing, play instruments, & write deeply & meaningful. The majority of the upcoming generation is exposed to mainstream top 40, which I find to be truly superficial! Most of the artists can't really sing, the autotune just kills me, barely play instruments, & have someone else write for them. There is some cool music out there but, you have to search for it, whereas we were happily engulfed in it! :)
