The Passing Of Shaykh Fareed Abdullah: Benefiting From The People of Knowledge Before It's Too Late!

To be honest, Sheikh Fareed Abdallah Dawah has benefited us a lot. I can remember 2006 and upward in Gambia when we organised seminars and kept records. His leacture of Salafiyyah and distribution of very beneficial leacture also you mention Bro. Ibrahim Touray is one of our imams when he visits Gambia. Sh.Fareed was a close friend of our late Sh.Abu Abdallah Al-Ghanee. I can remember when our Sh.Abdallah passed away, he called and cried for the death of Abu Abdallah. May Allah have mercy on both of them.

May Allah make his grave spacious and grant him janatul firdous. Wallahi I don’t even know him, hearing that he benefited so many students. And the fact that he doesn’t have any videos of him online and he avoided social media makes my respect for him so high. May Allah be pleased with all he’s good deeds and grant him the highest of jannah. May Allah have mercy on all the ulamah of sunnah that passed away. By Allah losing One ulamah is far greater and painful than loosing thousands regular people. Please brothers and sisters don’t forget to make dua for them: we lost so many important ulamahs recently the likes of Sheikh Mohammed adam Ali Al-Ethiopi, Sheikh Salih Al luhayden, Sheikh Abdusalam bin barjis, sheikh ibn Uthaymeen, sheikh Al islam abdulaziz ibn baz, sheikh Albani….etc this are very few that I listed so please make dua for all the great ulamahs of Islam.

Ustādh Muḥammad James Sutton حفظه الله studied under Shaykh Fareed, and he said that he was indeed a Qāḍī, i.e. he finished the programme in Saudi رحمه الله. He also mentioned that when Shaykh Muqbil came to L.A, some brothers wanted to go to Yemen, and Shaykh Muqbil advised that they stay and study with Shaykh Fareed.

I met the Shaikh back in the early 90s when we were part of QSS and he advised us to leave them along with Abu Uwais may Allaah bless both of them Aameen! The west lost a lion of the Sunnah.....
