The only problem that I have as a believer with Christmas is its Origins it was adopted into Christianity because they didn't have a holiday to celebrate and other things but it has nothing to do with Jesus Christ because believers and unbelievers that literally reject Christ celebrate Christmas how does that work.

The baal worship symbols are everywhere. Preachers gloss over scripture and fail to preach the actual Kingdom of God to the congregation. It breaks my heart for our fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord, those who currently are and those who will be.

@@damitajones8693 as far as Christmas goes, the tree, Santa (Odin) yule log, 12 days, angel or star on the tree and greenery all in the house. I encourage you to look into Norse Paganism and their celebration of the winter Solstice. Look up images of Odin. It is parallel with the Greek Roman worship of Saturn and Zeus. Then look at your Bible about what the Lord says about Pagan worship and why we are not to do it at all which includes mixing it with worshipping Him. Edit: the church displayes decorated trees everywhere including on the stage. The Bible has no mention of such holiday except for Jeremiah 10 which says it is a sin.

I'm still trying to understand Christmas. I use to celebrate it years ago but I haven't in a few years. Although I don't take this away from my little nieces and nephews.... I've read the Bible twice and still reading it over everyday and I can't seem to find or understand where in the Bible God specified the Month and day. Christmas is idolatry. Read Jeremiah 10. It is an ancient Driud (Norse) religion. They worshipped many gods. Their allgod is named "Odin." Nowhere in the Bible do I see instructions to do this, I only see instructions NOT too. Look into the Norse Paganism Winter Solstice celebration and the Athenian Heathenism Saturnalia celebration. Perhaps that will help you to see what it really is.

I think Dec 25 is used because it was already popular in ancient religions celebrations. The Bible really does not specify a month or day when Jesus was born. I celebrate Jesus on a daily basis.

The early Roman Catholic Church brought it in because they saw many so called Christians couldn't let go of their old paganistic rituals of Winter Solstice. They mixed Paganism with Christianity. Jeremiah 10 is about the idolatry of Judah. They were being reprimanded for this very thing. Researching into Norse Pagan Winter Solstice celebration then reading Jeremiah 10 again should help. The Lord does NOT give permission to mix idol worship with the worship of Him. This is more of a celebration of the antichrists.

Christmas has nothing to do with Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Jesus was not born on December 25th nor did he tell anyone to celebrate that specific day. December 25th is the birthdate of 2 roman sun gods, and the Christmas tree and holiday wreath came from the pagan festival Yuletide! Who is Santa Claus? Why do we lie to our children that an old man can see all, hear all, and has the right to hear judgement on who is wrong or right? Isn't that Jesus' job? Why do we tell our children to be good for Santa Claus and not for the Lord Jesus who is God, our everlasting king? If you call yourself a follower of Jesus it is time to wake up. This holiday has NEVER had anything to do with Christ. It is of pagan origins for other gods and had been taken by the Roman Catholics who slapped Jesus' name on it in order to appease the pagans and convince them to turn to monotheism. Ask yourself, why do you go and buy a tree that was cut out of the forest. Why do you put silver and gold ornaments and lights on it? Why do you put presents under it? Why do you make an offering of cookies for Santa knowing he does NOT exist? These are altars, and again, have NOTHING to do with Jesus Christ. But let's see what God has to say about the Christmas tree. Jeremiah 10:2-4 (KJV) Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. ‼️ For the customs of the people are 👉🏼 vain:👈🏼for one cutteth 🪓 a tree 🌲out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; 🎄 they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. 🔨 Sound familiar? If ye have ears, hear the word of the Lord. These are pagan traditions that never had anything to do with Jesus Christ!!! The pagans worshipped the winter solstice and made this time of year a time for festival, pagan worship and gift giving. This is in your history books and Google searches if you do not believe me. Turn to the LORD while you still can. Come out of this paganism and follow the LORD with all your heart before it is too late. This holiday is made in continuation for money by hungry rich men and greedy pastors!
