The Passion of the Church - The Founding at Pentecost

The first church exploded on the Day of Pentecost and the following days in Jerusalem. The church is not "an option" for Christians. Jesus said He would build His church and it is what every true Christian becomes a part of. Without love for the church, in fact, one cannot be classified as a true Christian.
In our current era, the Church(es) is and are under constant attack. Where does those attacks start - with us individually, internally to the church and externally? What did God want for His called-out ones - those He saves?
What characterised the church and what can we learn from it about the focus, the traits and the way the church is meant to be? What can learn about God and Jesus Christ in studying these Scriptures?
These questions and more are answered when we take a different approach to the scriptures describing the church at its founding.
