Mr. Cameraman. You have control of your body in the water as much on land. Go to a lake that is shallow sut in it until chest high just sit there until you're comfortable and playing. When you feel good bend slightly use your arms as spears through the water practice that until you are comfortable now repeat this this time imagine your feet kicking/ walking behind you. Water is just a different kind of air. Now when your comfortable with that remain in the shallow you don't have to keep your head in the water like an Olympian you will not drown baby steps in the shallows. You can swing like dogs do that helps some people just spit water out if you get in your mouth when your ready stand up until chest high walk around get comfortable bend knees and lean back the water will hold you up so you don't drown do that many times until you are comfortable now you're ready to float on your back without using bended knees. I hope this helps you don't worry about looking childish that's not a reasonable safety thought and may cause you to get more paranoid relax baby steps practice practice practice you'll be surprised you taught yourself to swing be in good health 😉✌️😎👍📿🙏🕊️🕯️🌹
