Here in the Potomac Highlands of WV we have a Farmer who is following your method of raising Cattle. He has a Beautiful Herd of Cattle and Farm. He is keeping his Cattle out of the Creek and Bird houses everywhere. He has Waterers on every lot and from what I can see his Waterers does both lots so his Cattle have 2 sources of water in each area. Love It. He also got recognize for helping Save the Bay. God Bless and Peace Be With You All

It's astonishing that you brought all those cattle through that arctic weather and that they all look as healthy as they do. They must be so pleased the worst of that is behind them and they can thaw out. Great work Mr Judy.

If you come across a downed tree on the Timeless fence can you video it? My husband wants to see one. He was hoping the Timeless website would show one.

I remember that you found that animal was taking samplings from multiple cows I wonder how long it took before the realization hit that no one was in the business of supplying fresh milkshakes just the shakes?

Littering has always been a pet peeve of mine. And then after I spent 3 weeks road tripping in the Yucatan (Mexico), I was just plain scared of what a society (including tourists) could do to the environment when know one cared about trashing the land with plastic and glass. An endless ocean of garbage on the land starts with just one discarded bottle, and then it compounds faster than 10 maxed out credit cards in the hands of a shopaholic!

Do you mind telling me how many bales of hay you feed per year and the number of cattle you have? I want to compare the ratio of how I am currently feeding in rings and in same area. I am considering moving to mob grazing and want to see how much fertilizer cost and haying cost I can save by stockpiling and rolling out hay instead of feeding in rings. Live in Western TN and have 75 head and currently feed ~300 5'x7' bales per year and fertilizer costs are killing me.

Greg, have you seen any research of the impact on water quality from your style of grazing versus 'standard' practices? I would assume your technique is much better for 2 reasons. One is the manure is always distributed and the paddocks are not compacted. Further to that the soil biology has got to be very healthy. So you should have reduced runoff, and infiltration should be pretty well balanced by a biological factory to break down nutrients and grow grass.
