His comment might come from a place of naiveness, but he's right. A guy that big who continues to put on size and has to work hard to control his already large waist will show signs of the uncontrollable "bubble gut" sooner. Zero to do with "he's 29". Age doesn't matter. It's how long you've been doing it for and what your structure can hold. He won't be getting "better" at controlling his wait / stomach, he will either keep controlling it as he is now for a little longer or it will go

I’m glad Terrick said Nick won in convincing fashion! Many people on podcasts are saying it was a 1 point difference at NY, which is very misleading due to the fact that in The Finals it was straight 1st places from judges for Nick, while it was straight 2nd places for Martin. Far from close. Don’t believe the narrative of it being close. Devil is in the details.

Sorry, Nick will never get it. Excellent condition always, but even Hadi has him beat in that overall. Then you have his blown out mid-section, which is getting bigger over time, and Derek blows him away in that when it comes to symmetry.
